The clinic’s vision is to create a healthier and more sustainable future for the rural communities.
Through a mobile health initiative, LION Mobile Clinic strives to provide comprehensive healthcare services, address food insecurity, promote economic development and enhance sustainability practices. The clinic envisions a future where every individual has access to quality healthcare and healthy food options, where economic growth is driven by sustainable practices and where our communities thrive.
The clinic’s mission is to improve the vitality of under-resourced communities of Central Pennsylvania through innovative and sustainable solutions at an individual and community level.

'Tailgate' Medicine at Blue-White Game
Amidst the vibrant energy of Blue-White Weekend just outside Beaver Stadium, LION Mobile was a hub of health education for those attending Penn State's spring football extravaganza. The mobile unit offered engaging, community-based learning opportunities focused on crucial prevention topics such as tick-borne illnesses and sun safety. In addition, collaborating with faculty from the College of Nursing and students from Health Policy and Administration, LION Mobile also provided hands-on training in Bystander CPR and Stop the Bleed, providing attendees with basic life-saving skills.
