Christopher Davis, MD

Assistant Professor and Inpatient Medical DirectorFamily and Community Medicine

Biography

Dr. Christopher Davis is a faculty physician in the Family and Community Medicine (FCM) Residency Program at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. A graduate of Penn State College of Medicine, he subsequently completed his residency at Hershey and then joined the faculty shortly thereafter. Previously a core faculty member, Dr. Davis now serves as Medical Director of the FCM inpatient service.

He provides comprehensive family medicine care in both inpatient and outpatient settings and has worked closely with residents across all stages of training. His professional interests include resident education, preventive care, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), and a range of inpatient and outpatient procedures. One of his favorite aspects of academic medicine is the mutual teaching that happens with residents and students—sharing clinical expertise while also learning from their experiences and perspectives.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Davis is an avid traveler (six continents and counting), enjoys long-distance bicycle touring, and regularly competes in Spartan obstacle course races. He’s also a dedicated board gamer—Ticket to Ride, anyone?—and is always up for a game night.
