Biography
Dr. Caitlyn Haines is a board-certified family medicine and primary care sports medicine physician. She earned her medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine, completed her family medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and went on to pursue a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Penn State Hershey.
In her current role, Dr. Haines provides comprehensive care in both family medicine and primary care sports medicine. As a core faculty member in the family medicine residency program, she is passionate about teaching and mentoring residents, finding great fulfillment in watching them grow into confident, compassionate family medicine physicians over the course of their training. Her clinical interests include biomechanics in swimming medicine and the care of endurance athletes. She is particularly excited about shaping the next generation of family doctors—helping them build strong patient relationships and develop their own unique style of practice.
Outside of work, Dr. Haines enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, exploring the outdoors, baking, and visiting family in Maryland and New Jersey.
